Brandon looked out of the helicopter. His squad was on a special assignment to take out several small encampments of insurgents in some small villages that lined up going west. They were in northern Iraq. The sun was just rising and Brandon turned to Mark Caldwell, the squads Lieutenant. "So, do we have any Intel on how many there might be out there." Brandon asked. "Well sergeant, we aren't quiet sure. It could be a few or hundreds, but we are the Army's finest." After he said that the squad responded "Hooah!"
The helicopter approached the village. They propelled from the chopper about a mile and a half out. The squad took their positions. Brandon took point and the rest fell in behind. Lt. Mark took his position right behind Brandon and they moved forward. The village was in their sights.
